The data set records the statistical data of R & D personnel and funding of natural research institutions in Qinghai Province (2016-2017), which are divided by year. The data are collected from the statistical yearbook of Qinghai Province issued by the Bureau of statistics of Qinghai Province. The data set consists of four tables

R & D funding of natural research institutions in 2017. XLS, the data table structure is the same. For example, the data table in 2017 has six fields:

Field 1: indicator name

Field 2: number of institutions

Field 3: all science and technology activity personnel

Field 4: full time equivalent of R & D personnel (person year)

Field 5: Researchers

Field 6: number of R & D personnel

File naming and required software

The data set is stored in Excel format, including four worksheets, followed by the statistics of R & D personnel and funding of natural research institutions in Qinghai Province in 2016 and 2017 (2016-2017). Data files can be opened with office software or imported into relational database system. The units involved in data table are individuals and people.
